I was just sitting here pondering how much I'd like the equivalent of my Shirogorov F95T in Vanax 37 in a fixed blade. Maybe with some premium burl wood scales. I think this would be a great hunting blade, but I hate gunking up folders when field dressing game.

What knife would you like to see as the other version, and why?

Great question. My dream is to have a nearly exact copy of my Shirogorov F3. I would lose the finger guard/flipper tab. The closest I have seen is a CultroTech with a fully molded and seamless Micarta handle but they want $1000 for it.

Why? Because the ergonomics are superior to any other knife I have. Period.

I would love a folding version of a Loveless Dropped Hunter. They used to be made, I think by Fantoni, but not anymore.

I'd like to see the Carothers EDC as a folder. Amazing knife!... But in that size I will reach for a folder 10 times outta 10.

- Spyderco Yojimbo in 20CV as a fixed blade. A Ronin in 20CV!
- ZT 0095 TANBLK S90V as a fixed blade.

An ESEE 4 folder would be cool.

Also, a fixed Spyderco Military or Benchmade Freek.

I would kind of like if the Benchmade Nimravus had a folding version. I don't know why, except to have a "high speed, low drag" folder, once in a while.

As if I don't already have options for that.

With Benchmade being so stiff about pricing, I don't even know if I would buy one. But I would like to know that it exists.
