Folders?

Since I discovered Beckers, I now carry them exclusively. I used to carry a Benchmade Rift, but have since left it behind and EDC a Becker 24. Has anyone else forsaken folders and now carry only Beckers?
 
I've done the same. All the folders got put away. I don't think I've used one in over a year.
 
I was starting to EDC small fixed blades until I came across kershawguy.com and a ZT0350 blem for $85.
 
Oh crap! I carry a rift! Just ordered at ZT 550. I would just carry a fixed, but I work in an office, and have already freaked out a couple people. Makes me wish I was still a firefighter.
 
I carry a lot of different knives, but around the office, its a Candiru, Leek, or Vantage Pro. Even the Vantage is pushing the limit for not raising eyebrows.

Around home or on weekends, I still carry a folder, but often have a bk14 or ESEE3 in my pocket.
 
In all honesty, I carry 3 blades almost every day. For the past 4 or 5 weeks ive been carrying my 11, a 13, and my Vic farmer. They each have their uses, and appropriate places to be used.

That last little leather creation come from the mind of our very own Psyop. It's one of the handiest pieces of kit I've ever owned.

My daily carry is:

- SAK Fieldmaster in my pocket (utility)
- Tactical folder on my pocket (0350SW,0560, or 0301 usually)
- RAT 1 folder in my EDC backpack (used for food prep - GREAT blade shape for that. I juice a lot and eat mostly raw fruits and veggies.)
- Fixed blade in my EDC backpack (SURVIVE GSO 4.1, ESEE 6, or BK16 usually)


Sometimes I also have a BK11 or 14 in my pack as well. Once I get the BK15, I can probably use it to replace my fixed blade and RAT 1. Seems like it will be great for food prep and decently long for the larger food prep like pineapple and coconut.

Well I still carry a folder every day. And an SAK. But Psyop is gradually convincing me to EDC a fixed blade as well. I'm working on that.:)
 
I tend to switch it up, I guess. I often have a Victorinox Cadet with me or an Opinel. I also tend to carry a Spydie ffg delica, srm 763 or Buck vantage pro. The BK14 gets a lot of pocket time at home or on hikes or when I go fossiling. I'll be ordering a 24 next week as well as a Kabar dozier, so I'll be switching things up. I have a lot more folders and every one gets some pocket time, but some of 'em more than others.
 
I carry at least 3 blades at all times including my BK14, a leatherman, and some type of folder.
Today it was my Ontario Rat-1.
 
My Rift makes it into my pocket sometimes. I occasionally EDC a fixed blade in addition to my folder, but yeah. For my general EDC of blades, I've got a small SAK on my keychain, the LE Gun Hammer in S90V, and I occasionally carry the damascus EDC I made. Folders are just fun, and a little more convenient for pocket carry for me than a fixed blade.
 
I keep a Spyderco Tenacious in my EDC pouch (Maxped Micro Organizer), that rides in my pocket when I head outside. I tried both the BK11 and the BK14, but the handles are just too small for my hand. I also keep my BK15 (or occasionally my BK2) in my bag, that normally comes with me when I leave the house. If I'm in the woods I usually have my BK4 with my BK15.
 
I still carry a vantage pro. very easy to conceal and no one ever gets freaked out that way.
then again, my work takes me into schools often where I cannot carry anything, so I have to be very conscious of when I even carry at all.

Depends where I am going. Since I have gotten my ZT-0561 It has gone with me everywhere but if I'm home at my parents house I usually have a 11 or 14 on me and If I'm out in the woods it either a 9 or a 16 depending on what I am doing.
 
My bk2 has been going to the woods, and general outdoors stuff, but edc, has been either a leatherman side kick or spyderco military.

Right here brother! (well, I have to carry a folder at work....but since I hate work I don't count it.)
 
I live in California, so I can't conceal a fixed blade. And I work in an office, so I'm not gonna carry one on my belt. So, for me, it's the Para2. I chose M390. Modded with Micarta scales, of course. (These, I did NOT make myself.)
