I have had the Folding ErgoHunter Pro for a couple of weeks now and it has surpassed all my expectations. It has the most secure and comfortable grip that I have ever handled and the thick liner lock snaps into place with authority. The action is silky smooth and the Bos treated S30V blade is centered perfectly. The knife uses a 'flow through' handle design that is well secured by two spacers and the pivot.

All in all, the Folding ErgoHunter Pro is a brilliantly designed and engineered knife that is a joy to use. Great work, Buck!

+1 on all A.P.F. I think you can use that folder to dress game without fear of stuff binding up pivot. I think it and my new 113 will accompany me on the hunt next year for deer season.

I had a chance to handle one of these and didn't like the fact that its made for a right handed person mainly, when holding it in your left hand, its not so comfortable and kind of awkward, just my opinion,I really wanted one until i handled it.

I'm a southpaw, and bought one. It does at first feel "odd", but after awhile you don't notice and it works fine for me.

I handled it both hands. And though I'm certain that I am a bit biased, it was fine and very good both hands.

I handled one at SMKW and was terriblly uncomfortable in left hand. It's a right-hand only knife for sure. I use both hands when using a knife so not for me. The AG Alpha Hunter in S30V is a much better folder for me.

There isn't a problem sharpening the blade with the curve of the blade? It does look good.

I have never had a problem sharpening re-curves with a Lansky and a set of Crock Sticks for touch-up. In fact a Sharpmaker used on the corners or a Gatco, should work fine as well.

A side by side photo with a Ergo Hunter fixed blade would be fantastic.

Are these what you are looking for Flat?

I'm really happy with mine! They are great knives! I really like the shape and size of the folder, as well as the extra grip! However I like the handle on the fixed blade, it looks nicer IMHO. (sorry about the bad lighting) The folder is a great size for multiple uses. Shes a great little skinner! Its funny also, I am right handed but use both when skinning, and didnt really notice anything weird about the handle shape. My dad is a lefty, and he is really impressed with the ergo series.
