Here it is, Dan, finally. If you bug enough you get results.

The knife is 4.5 inches with 3.5 inch blade. Excellently done. Marked RB on one side and 006 on the other -- collector item. If you look closely you can see "file work" (machine done) on back of blade -- runs entire lengh of blade. Blade looks to be stainless but I'm not certain. For convex grind fans don't get this one. Edge looks more than concave than convex. Nice slab handles. Overall a beautiful effort but don't take it to the field to do the work of a 22" Ganga Ram.

Uncle Bill = Thanks!

That is truly a beautiful folding knife. I am seriously considering giving Ray a call. Hope he's still interested. I'm guessing that it is a liner lock - I'd would probably ask him for a lockback if he could make it. Hmmmm... I wonder if a frame lock would be more fun...:)

Bill = Have you used it for anything? Do you have a review or test results?

Send it to me...:D:D I'll review it and post a write-up in this thread. I'll pay the shipping, etc. ;)

It's back with the dust bunnies and they said it would not come out again for at least one year.

Ok I have been around a little while now, but who the heck are the dust bunnies?

The Defenders of The Stash...

Perhaps one of the older more experienced players can help explain.

I'm just a Level 7 Amateur...;)

I wouldn't dare go in too close...

They are the keepers of my modest knife collection -- generally hide out under the bed or in the closet. Bill Paxton has a picture of them.

Bill,

This knife is a real treasure. Thanks again for sharing.

Dan

The knife was actually a gift from a customer turned pal so has special sentimental value. I'd never sell it for any price.
