Folding knife lanyard and weight

I just purchased a Spyderco Manix 2 Lightweight. I very much like it!

I want to have a nice lanyard on it. It feels odd without a lanyard. I normally DIY lanyards but way too busy now, and would rather spend time doing something else.

I want to purchase a light-weight lanyard that is pretty to look at that isn’t just paracord only. I looked through Amazon and most have skulls and they look very childish. And i would like something that wont ding up the knife.. so probably no titanium bead on it.

does anyone have and decent lanyard they have purchased and like? Please share link. I prefer Amazon for lanyard for price, ease of return and purchase, and fast delivery.

I am not sure of the difference. I think it maybe a fob. It is not to put around my wrist. When i google knife lanyard or fob.. they seem to be same

It's just semantics , but I would call what you want a "fob" .

"Lanyard" is usually understood as being longer , at least enough to loop around the hand or wrist and sometimes even ,strictly speaking, to attach to one's belt or other place so as not be lost .

What do you have in mind in terms of fob? Color, shape, etc? I can definitely make you one, absolutely free of charge. I need to check my paracord supplies and see which colors I have, I might have some beads that won’t scratch your knife.
