Folding knife pics

Ray, thanks for the great lesson! I've learned that some of the problems I've had can be attributed in part to using the wrong tools.

May I ask what the caliper is called that you used to test that the drill press table is perpendicular? Is the rod in the drill chuck part of it?

Dave, I also have problems making folding knives. No two knives have ever turned out the same. Having more tools and knowing how to use the tools can make the process of knife makeing more predictable.

I used the dail indicator from my magnetic base. The rod in the drill press is a transfer punch.
