Folding knife problem

I have a Benchmade folding knife. It worked fine few months ago but now when I fold it, it doesn't stay folded. It just pops right back again. Please tell me if you know how to fix that.
 
Vague question.
What model? Assisted? Automatic? Manual?
Where do you live, country?
Have you tried contacting Benchmade on their website or via telephone?
It's easier to help you when questions have a bit more detail.

It sounds as if your knife has broken Omega springs. Your best option is to send the knife into them and have them repair it.
 
Unfortunately I don't understand a lot about knifes, or where to check model. I got this knife as a present and I am far away from USA to send in to them to fix it, so here are some photos of it.

Thanks, for the pictures. That looks like a counterfeit Benchmade. But I could be wrong. As far as the lock, it has a button lock and no Omega springs.
 
Looks like the button return spring is bad. Does the knife lock open? If it does, it may just need a good cleaning.
 
I will check to see if the button return spring is bad. When I open it the button comes out about 4mm, but when I fold it, it comes out only about 2mm and the blade pops out.
