Folding knife storage

I have 2 of these and they hold 40 knives each. They are very sturdy and seem to be well built. They also will hold multi tools and flashlights. I am now in need of another one. Around 30 dollars each. Just thought I would share.View attachment 2587467View attachment 2587468View attachment 2587469
Those are good, space saving storage options! I have a 2 drawer toolbox that does a nice job, but I might need a 3 drawer replacement real soon! LOL.

Looks like BHQ stole Spyderco's idea. How big is the roll, when you roll it up?

FWIW, I've got 9 of these "small" Spyderco SpyderPacs that hold 18 knives each to just "store" my Spydies in my safe.

There's also a "large" SpyderPac that holds 30 knives but I just use the small SpyderPac because it's the best compromise in terms of capacity & size to store them in my safe. I've got a lot of other branded & unbranded knives cases to store other knives in my safe as well.

I believe it is about 7 x 12 inches folded up. I don't ever fold it up. I had bought one of the large spyderpacs originally but right off the bat one of the D rings pulled out. It cost about twice what this one did and I'm pretty sure it's made in China. I believe this one is made in the usa. Of course mine could have been a fluke. I just thought these were very good for the price.

Yeah, it looks like a pretty good deal price wise if you can still find any.

I located one site that which is charging $30/@ for whatever they've still got (which is way less than the SpyderPacs) but currently none seem to be available direct from BHQ.

If I bought any, my main concern would be how "big" it is w/40 knives in it when it's rolled up.

I never "hang" any of my SpyderPacs. So, that's not an issue for me. I just roll them out on the floor or table to use them and then roll them back up when done. I'd do the same w/the BHQ case if I bought one (which I'm actually considering at the moment).

I used craftsman or husky tool boxes with pull out drawers for my knives. When I had a collection anyway. Moved to an apartment from a house and had to downsize everything. Collection included.
The only thing I didn't like about the tool boxes is that sometimes a knife, or two, or three, would get surface rust in the winter months due to moisture so I started to save all the silica gel packs, solved that issue

This is fantastic, thank you!! Just ordered 2. Now if you guys can tell me how you store your fixed blades... I need some ideas!

I lost my Buck 301 last year.

Is that it?

I lost my Opinel in 1984.

Is that it?

Dude!

Do you have a drawer full of random remote controls too? I had to replace a Sony stereo one...
No. And don't try me. I'm 100% on everything in that drawer. You might get hurt.
