Hey guys! I couldn't think of a better title, sorry about that. I don't know whether this question has been answered before, at least I couldn't find it.

I'm looking for folding knives which you can only be opened with both hands or which you can open with one hand, but have no locking mechanism. Both types should nonetheless have a pocket clip.
I've already found knives of the second category such as the UKPN and the T-Mag from Spyderco, but what about the first one?

I'd be so glad if you could help me with my search!

Oh, and if you wonder, why should I need those types of knives: A new law is coming!

Spyderco UKPK opens with one hand, has a pocket clip, but does not lock. The DKPK opens with two hands (it is my understanding that with practice you can open it with one), has a pocket clip, and does not lock. I do not own, or have never handled either of these knives, but they seem to fit the bill. I don't know what price range you are looking within.

welcome to the forums

Pete

Have you considered the William Henry Legacy? It doesn't have a pocket clip, but it comes with a leather "clip case". I find it works very well. It's my new EDC (we have laws also:grumpy::mad:).

Spyderco Urban? Not due 'til later in the year, The blade is a little shorter than the UKPK will be available as a Wharncliffe as well.

Thank you for your welcome and input! I just wanted an overview on those specific knives, so that I know which ones I'll be able to buy here in Germany without running into trouble. And for an EDC, I wanted a pocket clip.

A William Henry would be great, but as long as I'm still at university, I just can't afford it. But in the future, there's money to earn, knives to buy :D
After all, my Buck 110 will be back on the road with me, as I left in my drawers because of its weight.

Thanks again,

Morales
