Folding knives and tools--a discussion

I have carried my share of slippies and assorted folding knives. Amongst them the classic buck 110 all the way up to big name customs but they have have all been sold traded given away or sit in a drawer. I have recently realized that I never carry a folder of any kind but exclusively use pocket fixed blades. Is anyone else the same? I'm also not big on neck carry but that's a separate post I suppose.

I got rid of my biig sheath knives long ago, and carry only my edc pocket knife and a pocket fixed blade. I love my Rosseli Grandmothers knife, and Brusletto Balder. Those knives seem to do anything I need in cutting jobs.

In my day pack as well as the better halfs day pack, is a folding saw if I need to do lumbering operations. Even in my younger day backpacking into National Parks, the chopper went unused, and finally jetisoned from the pack to cut down on weight.
