Hi all,
I have a Spyderco Nirvana that i just acquired on the secondary market. Unfortunately, the knife blade came Acid washed which expose the knife to rust and honestly, it doesn't look good with the handle. I'm looking for a highly skilled and reputable person who can regrind my knife blade to stone washed probably mirror polish at north of 220 grits in order to preserve the knife blade S90v steel for years to come. That's the main thing i'm trying to achieve. the second thing i'm trying to do on the knife is to correct the action. The lock stick seems to have gone away, the deployment of the blade is rock solid and fires with authority. However, the knife is not smooth when comes to drop shutting it. the lock bar didn't come with an over travel stop which they left more things to be desired here. Finally, this is a dream to come true, if anyone can do some milling on an integral knife which i'm not sure if it's possible in order to bring the knife to at near perfect equilibrium.
Kindly, if anyone knows the right person for the work mentioned above, I'll be so grateful to contact and send the knife out to him. Any advise will be highly appreciated.
NOTE: I tried with Josh "Razor edge" and he's confirmed to me that he doesn't do this kind or work anymore since he's making his own knives and he only accepts knives for sharpening.
Thanks and God Bless.
Sam.
