the mini gerbers can be ground to a single convex pretty easy. i had one that i ground down to 10 degree's on both sides... for some reason i could never get it as sharp as factory though 
... still wish i had it so i could use my leather stropping set now. it would have been a very dangerous blade to use at that point (for the user more then the people around him/her)
