First of all, if there is a more specific place to put this, would somebody let me know. Thanks.
Took my folding Razel to work today, and found that the blade pivot is loose enough that the knife will open by a few degrees when I clip it back in my pocket. The lock-up is rock solid, and there is no lateral movement of the blade in either the open or closed position.
I have the pivot pin screw tightened, and I fear that further efforts in this direction will strip the screw.
I have thought about replacing the pivot washers, with the idea of putting in something with a higher coefficent of friction, or even a thicker washer. I have also thought about honing down the handle spacers to allow further tightening of the pivot pin. I am hoping that there is a simpler method I have overlooked.
Any suggestions would be helpful.
