I worked lots of evening hours between 1k and 2k posts and meant to do this back then. I honestly don't know how I got that many. I hope it was from helping other members out as much as they've helped me over the course of the last year or so. That and being a comdedian, but hopefully more the former.

I have participated in a few contests and have been lucky enough to win in some of them and I can't thank Jeff and Mike, the mods and fellow members enough for it. I really enjoy the community here and the opinions and advice we share.

Anyway, I like to keep folding saws in my woods kits and bought a few extra Gerber folding saws the last time I needed one. There are more expensive and more rugged folding saws on the market but these have worked great for me through a lot of use.

To enter, post a reply in this thread with a quick message of what you appreciate about ESEE forum. Nothing long and sappy, I have a short attention span. I will run this no more than a week and after I cut it off I will use a random number generator to pick the winner by post reply number.

Must be an ESEE Pack member or have submitted a request for a number before the time of this post to enter. Gold Membership not required. US only, shipped USPS.

I have one and love it. This is not an entry, I just wanted to let everyone know that this is very cool of you.

This is also not an entry(not a pack memb)
I just wanted to say I really appreciate all the members, mods, and info here in the ESEE forum, y'all rock.
Good luck with the giveaway.

didn't know Gerber made a folding saw, i'd only seen the extending one before.

as long as this is open to everyone, not just gold or higher

reading the posts i see i missed the part about saying what i like about this place. dunno how i missed that the first time.

i like the no-BS approach. no BS products, no BS warranty, the ability to talk to Jeff, Mike and RYP about their products, and that the people here don't get all bent out of shape over minor stuff. everyone here is friendly, there's a little good natured ribbing that goes on from time to time, without getting too carried away.

the fact that the most popular knife pix are the ones of the well used ESEEs is also a plus... not a lot of safe queens on display here.

Open to all membership levels, forgot to mention that. Just have to have a Pack number or be waiting for one.

I really appreciate how the mods are so willing to take our(members) suggestions for non knife/survival related products, and go way beyond what they have to, to help keep everyone happy. Also how jeff/ mike and RYP are always asking for what we think of the new stuff, open to our comments/criticism and arent just hiding behind the screen lurking. they will post and chat it up with us.

Thanks for the chance

RP # 350 Great forum-bunch of folks willing to share knowledge on a lot of skill levels. ESEE-Great product without BS.

I appreciate the interaction between the ESEE staff and forum members. Its nice talking to the people behind the scenes.

Thanks for the chance!

ESEE is life changing. I have lost a ton of weight since discovering their knives....not in the belly area, but my wallet...:D

The plethora of information that is exchanged on this forum is truly amazing and I've become more educated in the ways of using, sharpening, and enjoying ESEE blades.

I love how easy going and friendly everybody is, and how there is a vast wealth of knowledge here. I read this forum everyday just looking for new ideas, techniques, but especially new products!

Thanks for the giveaway I'd actually really want to win this. Been wanting a folding saw for some time now. RP 36

I just hang out cuz it cool to actually hear and talk to the guys that make/design the knives. Seems to be a good group of people in here to support a great Knife company!

I said it before and am happy to say it again - this isn't a forum, it's a support group! :-)

I enjoy the information, experience and goodwill on the forum... not much drama, not too much ego.

I have never seen a company so ready, willing and able to listen to the customer base when it comes to designing new gear. There are a few things in the pipeline that many of us are waiting for and those things would have never been made by another gear company and definitely not another knife company.

All of you folks are good chaps and the moderation is solid and fair.

That's why I'm here.

I like this forum because it is the most informative about general survival along with a great company.:)

I appreciate the variety of personalities on this forum and of course for the wealth of knowledge that is here. Everyone I've dealt with here has been friendly, professional, and knowledgable. That cannot be said of a few other forums I've been a member of.

Pack #744. What I like about the forum: The people. One of which is adaman04.:)

I like the down to earth sentiment ESEE has. That was the #1 reason why I bought a then RAT 4. I use it, its tough and if anything went wrong I know I would be helped out.
Thanks for the chance!
