to be considered the best I get. Money is very tight for me and I want one really good knife. I bought the Endura 4 and the Spyderco Ladybug and want a nicer one to complete my buying. So many and I am going nuts making a decision. Thanks for listening. BUT, I did buy a Survival Knife from Bo Randall in 1955 I believe it was. Paid $50 for it and the heavy duty leather sheath with a stone in a small compartment on top.

Yes, sorry that I wandered. Just a fine one that is of much better quality and that I like the looks of. The Acies is fine but I can't afford it. Something different in appearance, also on my mind.

Thank you. My price range is about $125 to $175 or a bit more maybe. I want a better and larger knife than the ones I just bought and will pay the price if it looks good and has good ergonomics.

Name brand makes no difference. Kershaw and Spyderco suit me but so do a lot of others. My knowledge is scant.

You sound like a gentleman that might appreciate a Buck Custom Shoppe 110.

No, I have my stuff already coming from Russell. I want this separate and it makes no difference where I buy. That Buck looks just fabulous. I have to check it out. I am just an old man who likes to carry a nice knife in his pocket and look at it, handle it occasionally. Maybe whittle some.
