I'm looking for opinions on a folding knife-spoon-fork multi-tool. I've done some research and I've found the ones made by Browning, Ka-Bar and one with the Columbia logo that I think is actually made by someone else but packaged under numerous names. Which of these is the best and are there others that fit the general description of these brands that you would recommend? I prefer the ones that fold up as one unit like a multi-tool but separate for ease of use and cleaning. The absolute necessities are a knife, fork & spoon. A bottle & can opener would be nice to have too but not a requirement...and the thinner the better.

I'm not a big fan of these. Unless cleaned real well there is a good possibility you can get sick from them. I've heard of it quite a few times when people did long term camping and didn't clean it very well. Even if you don't get sick they get pretty nasty from food getting in the pivots and such I much prefer carrying a titanium spork and the knife from a cub scout "Litt-L-Vitt-L Kit" (which I course sharpened, not real sharp, but it wouldn't cut anything to start). I hook them together on a little screw link and hook that on the little key hook (I guess that is what it's for) in my pack. Works great, is lighter, safer, and has all the same stuff. Then again, I don't know what your uses are.
