Folding utility knives?

I picked a little Stanley folding utility knife. Thumb stud opener. Liner lock. Easy to swap out blades but, secure in use.

I always had the Stanley grey push/slide button utility knives. Thought I’d try this.

I’m a knife guy but, from a purely utilitarian standpoint? This things kinda handy. It’s really good steel, sharp as all get out and, no sharpening required.

So, being a knife guy...I’m on the hunt. Anybody know of THE best folding razor knife? The Sebenza of utility knives. Does it exist?

That’s a nice knife. The Gerber apparently uses the Stanley heavy duty blade. Thanks.

I forget the name of it, there's a company that makes premium folding box cutters. They look pretty nice and can be made from Ti, brass, copper, etc. Run a little over $100 IIRC. Tried to find them just now but the name eludes me, they've popped up here in the gadgets section that's how I discovered them.

Rexford RUT?

wow, that looks up scale.
except that it still uses the same
cheap disposable blade
and performs exactly like so?
i guess there's a niche market
for a customized premium handle...

I want to say the name of either the company or the tool itself is electrical related.

S Sgt 127 it's Spectrum Energetics (found it by searching, yes, the gadget section). The model knife is called the Utilizer.

That really is a baby Sebenza. The lanyard loop/Allan wrench is ingenious. Blade doesn’t lock though. Lost a few cool points on that.

but, thank you!

Milwaukee has some nice ones. They have been raising the bar on a lot of very common tools. Taking them to the next level. Even their magic marker is better than a sharpie.

My son and a buddy have a thing where they shorten up the handles of folding utility knives to make them more pocketable. Not sure of the brand they use. They are red, so it may be Milwaukee.

I use utility knives every day for work....have em all Gerber, browning, kobalt, Milwaukee and so on....the one I'm stuck on and can't forsee straying from is outdoor edge's b.o.a. its ergonomics and performance smoke the competition imo....I use carbide razor blades which seem to perform better then standard blades

I once came very close to getting one of those. The two things that stopped me were no lock and the fact that I didn't want to have to piddle with a hex key every time I needed to change the blade while working.

Wow, didn't even notice the blade doesn't lock. I'd go as far as saying that's false advertising for them to market a utility knife and not mention that (I didn't see it mentioned at least).

The utilitizer is just held open by detents. The utilitizer 2 has the detent and a liner lock.
