So here is the update to this issue here in this other forum.

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1446120-Lockup-nick-or-(resolved-D-)

I just got the knife back and I took a lot of pictures and did not see anything unusual... I am new to CRK and I just need for you guys to determine if this is normal or not.

Warning. PIC HEAVY.....

As I rechecked the knife again, I finally realized that the knife is really not that much used.... It feels like it might need more brake in ? I can`t tell if it has lock stick since , I can open the knife back and forth with no issues at all....
I had to wipe the blade tang with q-tips since a few tiny spot of black grease sometimes shows up on that spot, maybe the OP saw that as a nick???

Obviously, I spent $25 dollars already to send the knife to OP from the other thread and to the original owner. The OP from the other thread spent $12.xx returning the knife back to me.... The original owner will check the knife if it was modified (which I don`t see any changes physically when I originally, got it from him) If he is ok with it, he will refund me the money, if not he will send this back to me. WTH!

If this is normal , I`m I eligible for a shipping cost refund ?

I've been seeing this thread pop up and the people here, as always have given some really great advice and opinions. There is something I really don't get now, and obviously not having the knife in hand is a significant obstacle to solving your issue. Still, after seeing the pictures from the last threads it seems incredible.

That looks like a chunk is missing, but you were able to remove it, as it was only grease? The pictures really fooled me.

I guess the question is, did knifeandgun ever try to verify that it wasn't grease?
Certainly, if this is the same knife and it looks like it is because the pics have some shared characteristics in the ti scales, it fooled me.

Of course, the original pictures look like it has lint, dust and debris all over it..so it's hard to tell what was going on.
Color me surprised

Can you get some pics on the same orientation as what the person that sold it to you took?
Yours are from slightly different angles, so it looks like there is something a little off.

Ah..scratch that..you no longer have it :P

I hit it with a q tip but still appeared strange
I didn't try to take it apart to do more tho
Honestly I'm so unfamiliar with Crk I wasn't sure if I should mess with it and now I feel quite dumb

Don't feel bad about it. We all learned from this.

- When receiving knife from a trade or another owner, take many pictures as you can so It won't bite you in the end later when you decided to sell or trade it again. If I had these pictures in hand, I could have compared this pics to the other thread's pic , so OP from the other thread would have investigated more 0ff it, if this was just a speck of oil , grease etc.

Always cover your ass ! ✌🏼️
