Just thought of something, the limited editions from Kershaw such as the Volt and Speedform have a regular production model which is smaller which are the Volt 2 and Speedform 2. They are both smaller in size but still follow the original pattern.

So does this mean a smaller Tilt for production is in the works? :O

The Tilt is an amazing knife but its a big momma! Would definitely be interested in a smaller version with its smooth KVT goodness. :)

I agree. A ~3.25" blade Tilt would be amazing! Maybe do a solid S30V or S35VN blade instead of the composite, scale down the KVT, and stone-wash the blade with a blue anodized lock side (if possible) like the original proto. Add a deep carry tip-up clip and it would be my perfect EDC knife.

Would be awesome, but I don't know if they do that "smaller" trend on their more expensive knives.

The Tilt II would still maintain that angular profile that makes it great. Like the Speedform still has it's unique shape. I don't think the Volt made a very good transition since it didn't have a wild profile to begin with. The angular handle may not fit hands as well when scaled down. That was part of my initial resistance to the Tilt. But not every knfe owner has my size hands or my taste obviously. It sure would be boring if we all had exactly the same tastes and Kershaw didn't have such an amazing broad lineup of knives.
