I just picked up this little beauty at Lowes Home Improvement Store, of all places. I have been thinking of getting on of these for a while but with the hastle of ordering on line I put if off. But then there it was for $20. I have had it for 2 hours and can't keep my hands off of it. Does anyone else have one?, do you like it and what is its purpose?

Congrats on your new knife! Why not do a field test with it and post it up with pics?

I've been waiting patiently for the Bowie version to arrive at resellers, but I might have to pass on it now since I picked up an Izula. Aw hell, I might just get one anyway when they actually come out :)

I have and love his original custom. The handle is deeply contoured so it's easy to hang on to, and the the blade is very pointy and useful in the way you'd normally use very small knives. Incredible design.

Love mine, had it since Nov......but I am waiting patiently for the tanto version

i've had and carried one for a while now, and it's a pretty cool little knife.
my only problem with the knife is that it feels like it wants to turn in my hand. since the blade edge is down lower than the fingers, sometimes when i apply pressure to the edge, it feels as though the grip is gonna twist in my hand.
not a big deal, just something i have to keep in mind.

I bought one at Blade this weekend. It's an awesome little knife. Mr. Folts was a great guy. Spent some time talking with him. I just used it to cut up an apple. Works awesome!

I just noticed that there is a clip point version coming out, which I like.

I may have to check out the local Lowe's today though . . .

Honestly it doesnt do much for me , I guess I would have to actually hold one first.

The Tanto style I saw in a magazine looked silly though... come on a tanto tip on a knife that small ? how utterly useless !

I bought a few to give as gifts and kept one, it's a really nice design. The steel CRKT uses on it sucks, though. It doesn't hold an edge for too long.

I'm seriously considering getting a custom one from Alan Folts, they go for around $130 and are made out of much better steel.

I want one, and the best part is that I live about 10 minutes from Alan Folts himself.
