As I mentioned in one of my other threads I'm going to put the seal pup through the motions of what I'd expect from in the wild in the contolled envirnment of my home to see how it holds up....Todays task, and probably one of the most common uses of a camp knife in the bush...Food prep
Had some comapany coming over so I decided to forego the usual kitchen knives in lieu of my seal pup Cut paper thin slices in a large log of pepperoni, did a decent job of cutting a brick of cheese, a head of broccoli I also used it to core a bunch of bell peppers and slice up some chicken cutlets....I than used the butt ro hammer some triscuits into bread crumbs toa add to some stuffed peppers ( actually worked better for this task than the estwing hammer I usually use...Less mess) I understand this is not a super hard test but it is the foirst of many and the blade is still shaving sharp, hopefully later in the week I'll get to the poultry shop and get a rabbit to test skinning on, but before that battoning..I'll keep you all posted
