food stamps budget

I just read that they have cut 5 billion dollars from the food stamp budget. Boy a lot of people are not going to be happy about this. I think it is about time. I think if they look at the people that are on it they would drop some of them and give it to people that need it to feed there children and them self. I think the food stamp is being abused big time. what do you people think??
