Fooling around today

Oh gosh what a sweet little cutie! Nice little knife, the file teeth look so cool left on there!

I like it ,and all the others youve posted as well.

In fact youve inspired me to try turning some of my old files into knives.

I need to learn the annealing process b4 a do tho.

As far as that goes i also have to learn hardening as well ( i do have a local maker who offered to harden knives for me but i hate to impose) Can you toss me some hints/tips ? keeping in mind i have very simple tools to work with.

Be glad to tell you eaxactly how I go about it, shoot me an e-mail, my link is on the bottom.

Thanks for the comments, I both like, and dislike Dymondwood. Being laminated it is very stable which I feel is good for EDC knives like this. I'm not real high on the multi-wood stuff myself, although a couple of the 2 wood combinations looks pretty good. The single wood stuff is a different story though, looks good, has decent grain pattern more often than not, and is a very durable handle material.
