Foot surgery/iPod touch. HELP!

I had foot surgery today and I am stuck in this chair with my daughters iPod touch. Please, guys, keep me entertained! It will be a long 10 days!
 
You got my sympathy. Hip joint replacement last year ... three weeks rehab. Nice place, though, and lots to do.

Get crutches and stumble around on them. :)
 
I am stuck in this chair for a few days (minimum) Not suppose to be on it at all.
 
See if she Angry Birds on the iPod. That helped my brother kill some time in the hospital a while back. Hang in there. Speedy recovery.
 
Kindle app and Netflix app can help a great deal. My father just got an iphone and a hip replacement. I think Netflix on the phone got him through a big chunk of the boredom.
 
Percocets and Netflix, a perfect combo, hope ya feel better. Hey ya could always browse the archives, lots to read in there.
 
Get a ps3 and a headset. Troll the mw3 lobbies.
It's a ton of fun and you can't get banned.

that sounds like fun, I may have to try that if I am stuck in a chair for any length of time for an injury.

anyways, angry birds is a good one, I've noticed that most people with ipods that I have seen have at least some variation of it.

words with friends is a good game, get the paid version if you dont mind spending 3 bucks, gets rid of those #&!^*@#& adds.

i you have wifi and a netflix account, get some headphones and pic a TV series (preferably one that lasted a few seasons) and watch them all in a row. 3 off the top of my head are stargate SG1 (scifi), Lost, and Psych.

get well quickly, its miserable (IMHO) to be down like that


Edit: I may try the MW3 trolling thing whenever I go home from college next....I'm thinking play hardcore and kill my team mates at opportune times
 
I'll be hitting Black Ops2 pretty hard. I also bought Reckoning Kingdoms of Alamor to help.
 
You can download a ton of free game apps. A few of my favorites are:

Temple Run
Sudoku
Toy Defense
Glow Hockey
Air Penguin
Bike Race and Hill Climb

They also have those door puzzle games where you have to figure out how to open each door by doing things or manipulating objects in each room. Challenging and frustrating.

There's also a ton of crap to look at on You Tube

Things are getting better. Been trading in the forum....I also was watching Cutlery Corner on HSN. LoL! Haven't made it downstairs to my ps3 yet.
 
I know how you feel man. I broke my leg/ankle a little over a year ago and spent 8 weeks at the house in a chair. I ended up with two surgeries and spend some time in a wheel chair. It really opens your eyes to what some people have to live with.

They had me on good pain killers, so it was a little hard to stay interested in reading books (which I love to read), but I did make some use of the Kindle App. Netflix and Internet Forums were my friends.
 
Yep...thank God for my twins iPod touch. I have to get down to my PS3 and B.0.2.
 
GTA Vice City is only $4 from the app store.
It's the whole game including the soundtrack.
Great way to kill time.
