This other "knife storage" thread really brought my attention to the fact that I have been looking for a top quality footlocker for some time.

Do any of you guys/gals know of a USA company who makes a high quality footlocker to store knives ( or other valuables as far as that goes) and other collectibles in. I am going to have to move soon and I would love to invest in a Footlocker with separate shelves that could fold out. I do know that they are available because I have seen them before at Rock & Mineral shows and various other shows as well.

ABSOLUTELY NO "Made in China" stuff at all for this guy. If I can help it. I want to patronize USA companies whenever I can. Feel free to PM or e-mail me if you like. But I would imagine there are other brothers/sisters that are probably thinking the same thing I am. JD
 
If you can't find what you like see if you can find some 25mm ammo boxes. Tough and waterproof and good size.

I have a couple with locks and holes through the bottom that screw into the concrete slab in the basement. Best storage for the bucks I have have found. They even have handles to lug them around although one full of knives has to be like carrying a bag of cement!
