antique walnut,steel ebony,steel snake, bulldog ram,steel coco, &crimson grizz.
typical of gec was the steel coco which was glaze finished & had no stamp on blade itself. the other steels were more polished & had Un- X- LD stamped on blade. the bulldog is made by queen & works on 2 backsprings as opposed to gec single spring. the walnut & grizz bones sport the huge shield which i've not seen on any other gec models.although gecs are hard to top , the bulldog is king of this bunch, thanks to black mamba.---dennis

Another beautiful lineup Dennis. The ebony and snakewood are my favorites. It's never a disapointment when I open one of your threads. I just put my bib on before I do it now. ;)
Thanks for another excellent show.
Dan

Nice.
What steel did Queen use on the Bulldog?

Those are beauties.Love the Bulldog Sheephorn. Is that a Toenail or a Sleeveboard?

Candy for the collectors eyes!
What a great grouping! Thanks DS!!

thanks guys the bulldog is 1095 & whether i/m correct on nomenclature is moot. the knife is still a stomper.---dennis

Dennis, those are truly nice looking knives. I've never owned a toenail because I just couldn't figure out what I would use it for that a smaller, lighter pocket carry wouldn't do. The pattern intrigues me but I have never seen anyone pull one out and use it. All of those are very striking knives - another good collection from Dennis to salivate over. Ed J

I have a crimson too, love it and enjoy using it
great pieces as usual Dennis
