It's the knife collectors showcase! 198 knives for 200 dollars. I almost pee'd myself when they introduced the "Delta Ranger"!:barf: :D

My wife actually bought me one of those "assortments" from HSN once. Cost almost $40.00 to ship it back! It was heavy, but there wasn't one knife in the bunch that didn't scream CRAP!

She's gotten better now. She bought me a Benchmade 941Ti-01 for Christmas and bought me a custom Hibben pocket dagger with Ivory scales and scrimshaw for my birthday this year.

Seems like you've taught her well now.

The sad thing is you can actually make some deceent money picking up one of those pieces of junk and piecing it out on ebay.

Sadly, my ethics won't let me do that to the buyers

I saw one last night where the man on the right stuck a folder into the wooden plate and the other five knives fell over. They just looked at each other like duh!!!:p

I've watched those HSN "knife deals" a few times, and it's all I can do to keep from laughing my ass off when those two bozos use the word "quality" with those POS "knives".:barf:.

Unfortunately, I have a different reaction when I turn that show on. It makes me sick, bordering on angry to see these snake oil salesmen, hawking this crap! :mad:

The clowns that make and distribute this garbage need to be taken out and horse whipped.

I have to admit that I watch those shows from time to time. It's funnier than most network sitcoms.

I'm amazed at how those two dudes can keep a straight face. Great, great acting. :D

All of the above said.......

What truly amazes me is that the guys selling these knives at flea-markets, gun-shows, etc., are really truly making a killing, usually marking them up to $10 or even $20 per knife, and *_still_* selling them !

<shrug>

Oh well, hey, at least that frame-lock folder with the wood scales looked nice.

Ohbyeah, we got a bunch of things I call "Basement Appliances" that my father bought from infomerrcials, things like pizza dough makers, food processors, juicers, food sealers, etc etc etc...

What is even worse, is every military base I've ever been to, at least in the states has a booth that sells this paki/china/POS crap, and it sells.
I've got buds who'll pull out a floppy POS knife and try to just about anything with it, yikes !!
