I say"The more whores the better!!"

I had my scales off my 2 today trying my hand at making some wooden ones. I was like hey this wouldn't be to bad with some 550 on it.

They look great man.

I like the tightly fitted hardware and which side your bolt heads are on. I always planned to put the bolt heads on the right if I ever make any handles.

someone finally noticed! I thought I was the only one who was driven crazy by the fact that the factory grips have the ''ugly'' side of the hardware facing out when carried right-handed! I have no idea why the heck that is so, makes more sense to me to have it other way 'round. Course, I guess the BH-lefties out there Like the factory hardware position.

Kind of like how the SAA is designed for a left-handed user. If u have ever used a SAA, ya know u swap it to the left to load/unload.
For the knife guys who aint gun guys...SAA is Colt Peacemaker 1873 and all clones. Single-Action Army Model

Looks good man...digging the hillbilly clamp. Now hurry up and finish that 11 man. We are waiting.....

Ha, no idea. I use BDB(Beer drinkin' buddy's) belt sander. I'll be getting one eventually. I can't imagine what little sanding I have done with one having to be done by hand, damn. Ice that hand with a cold beer or 10.

Looking good. You did an excellent job jimping the 2. Did you use a jeweler's file?

nah, just some file i picked up at a local ma&pa store, they are kinda like harbor freight, cheap junk LOL

was 1.30$ so I cant complain

Hey, whatever works. Did you use a smaller file to get the initial groove, then move to a bigger file, or just use the same one the whole time?

same one, it bites good into that 1095, just use a short firm hard-pressure stroke the first time...get a lil notch to work the file in on subsequent passes. Lot easier to file then SS...i tried it on a cheap winchester knife...damn thing barely shows a mark lol
