OK Buzz and Company,
I had almost forgotten about these Camillus Custom Shop Mini Talons......Kewl sheath too....

This is the only one I know of still availible on the market...though there may still be others on dealers shelves. The ironwood used in these knives was/is gorgesous! www.knifeoutlet.com has this one....I don't know how many he has in stock.

I liked the looks of that custom shop mini a LOT. Immediately went to knifeoutlet website and simonich's website to compare, read about, and price. Almost caused me to pull out my credit card. Pretty handle, pretty and practical sheath, nice looking knife. Had to restrain myself by repeatedly telling myself that the whole purpose of talonite is rust resistance for a hard use knife. That one is so pretty, I'd probably never use it. Nice knife!

Talonite IS all about rust resistance, and will never rust in that GORGEOUS leather sheath!!!

You're right. Don't buy it. And make sure that nobody else buys it until.... (counting number of paychecks until I can afford full-sized Talon and this Mini-Talon)...... Drat. Just buy the darn thing so my torture will end!!!

Well... I decided to give in and get one of those after all. They were great looking knives and sheaths. Checked at both sites mentioned in preceding threads and none showed up as available.

I know they deleted the pic. It was a beauty too. Convinced me I needed to buy one and they only made 25 or so! Hopefully, they'll relent and make a few more.
