I own the Western Boot Knife and love it. But the tip of my knife poked throught the sheath, did you notice the top layer of leather was a little thin? I emailed Camillus and hopefully they will respond. Also, anybody know where I can get custom sheaths done, good quality? Thanks.

There are some guys on this forum that do a good job with sheaths. One that comes to mind is Dave/Lifter4Him. I have seen some of his work lately in the Gallery forum and was impressed. I noticed the same thing. The bottom starting folding backward, and it poked on through. That knife has been sheathless for about 7 years now. It's always stuck in something.

When Camillus was making these under their own name, they switched to a Kydex scabbard. It's a shame they did'nt use the 'dex for these too.
