I posted a question for you at the end of my "twich xl who likes em" post. I just wanted to make sure you saw it so I created another post to ask the same question. Could you give me your opinion of the Twich XL? Does the blade assist spring hold up well a.k.a. any problems with breakage? How much do they cost if one breaks. I carry this knife very often and just like the add says "The action is addictive". Am I causing any unknown problems by flipping it open alot? One poster complained about the skinny blade stop pin. Have there been any problems with it breaking? Thanks in advanced.

Did not see that yet. I answer you questions here and in that post.

I like the knife. It is not one that i carry but it si a great knife. It is thin but still easy to handle.

I have not heard of or seen many problems with this knife. Most of them come from misuse not just opening the knife. Occasionally we will get a spring the brakes but that is very infrequently. If a spring does brake it is usually covered under warranty and you would just have to send the knife but to us.

You should not be causing and problems by using the knife. I have yet to see a SOG that had been damaged by opening it too frequently.

As for the stop pin, no problems there.

Overall I think it is a great knife and one of my top 5.
