It sure is. We were close. I walked him 2 and 3 times a day everywhere. My wife and I never gave up hope till the last day. They give us so much and are with us such a short time, even if they die of old age.

sorry for you loss. i know what it is. our first child was a bullmastiff. we took him every where we went. he was my running buddy and talking buddy. funny everyone accepted that he would be with us when we visited. his name was Conan.
