For Consideration: Trading a BWM for a SARsquatch

Hey Guys,
I have a BWM with G-10 Handles that I'm considering trading away.It's my First Busse. I like the fact that it's light, and big, but it seems the only good thing it's for is chopping, but the grip really agitates my pinky in use, I'm considering trading it for a SARsquatch. I've held one before and I really liked it, and the blade just calls to me. what's y'alls opinion on this?

BWM is a great first Busse!!

What do you want the knife to do the most?

Food prep?
Skin?
Slice?
Chop?
Battoning?
Whittle?
A general camp knife?
Fighting?
Edc?

I love the Squatch, but I would say keep the BWM and maybe pair it with a smaller blade like the BOSS Jack (since they are available direct) so you have all bases covered... Maybe consider a CABS or BAD to pair w your BWM instead.

I think you'll find a lot of people favor the two knife solution as opposed to the one do all blade.

CABS BAD RMD MUK or maybe a 511 if money is an issue. Those new drop points and trailing points look awesome too. If they are thin like the muks ill probably try to get one or both. If you only want 1 I'd suggest considering an NMSFNO. The 154CM from Scrapyard is awesome too. My favorites are the B11, BWM, NMSFNO, SarSquatch, RMD, CABS, INFIcoot/bandicoot, and SS4.

I do like the B11 more than the BWM. If you want to get away from the pinky issue you could trade into a B11 or B10 when they come out.

BWM all the way over the squach.
BWM, It's Light, chops good, carries very well, nice long blade and possibly the best handle design on any Busse in my opinion, plus it does not have the false edge on top which will effect your batton if you do any real chopping.
You dont need a small knife to do fine work, just hold the larger blade knife close to the tip on the spine and do what you got to do, I do it all the time with my CGFBM.
I will second the NMSFNO.........just some info for you but ultimetly go with what your heart tells you go with. Good luck.

Derek, slip on a glove Bro!!! I'd keep that BWM though cause you WILL regret letting it go. Get the SarSquatch to, it want break the bank, and you will have an excellent GP Knife.

Keep the BWM. You cant beat the price you paid! They do bite a little. I do all of my chopping with those blue Atlas gloves. All of the choppers that I have had from Busse and family have smacked my pinky. I have a feeling that the rodent 9 might be the exception. Hopefully they put out different finishes so I can find out.

Life's short, get what you like. If you trade a BWM for a 'Squatch, don't forget that the BWM has a higher market value.

Yeah, but the SARQ can still f*ck s*it up! It is plenty plenty stabby (still, dont sell your BWM)
