Any chance of making a full tang carbon or tool steel knife similar to the Green Beret? No serrations, about 6" length?

How about a Green Beret itself in plain edge A2? That would be CRK all the way! (OK, a bit of Bill Harsey, too, which is good )

I have always thought the basic design of the gb was about as good as it gets for my wants/needs, but I don't care for serrations. I also understand why Chris doesn't want to change the gb. But if he made a knife like it w/o serrations, and from A2, I think I would drive from georgia to the shop to pick up the knife.

I'm no fan of serrations myself. However, my 7" GB has only 1" of serrations. Not enough to get in the way of a fine cutting edge. Yet, enough to be useful now and again. On a smaller knife I would not get them. I really wish the new Pacifica had none.
