For DannyinJapan And Other UFO Enthusiasts...

I don't know about this one.
However, the event has been unexplained by traditional theories.
You never know.

I personally think that was where the Predators landed and fought the Aliens, and then blew it up to destroy all evidence. Okay maybe its because I've had under 4 hours sleep for 2 days in a row and was at work for 18 hours last night.
The explosion is thought to have been a comet that exploded before impact, but whatever it was, it's amazing.

I really think it would be interesting, I mean, what would
the pope have to say about that? Not to mention
Jerry Falwell and those groups. What about the dali lama? Irrefutable evidence would be quite entertaining really and quite devasting to a lot
traditional cultural ideas. The basic premise of most of the religion of earth is that mankind is the "highest" form of life , Kind of shoots that down doesn't it. I think it would eventually effect every
aspect of daily life, change thought process on a very basic level,
Like when magellian circumnavigated the globe, and every one found out that you wouldn't fall of the edge. Definitinately entertaining, and much better than anything on TV right now..... What would really be funny is if they found evidence that a past visit had occured, .... trying to explain why
they didn't take the trouble to come back...yeap being snubbed in an interplanetary encounter , maybe even looked down upon.......I can just imagine the" new words from god" that we would be bombarded with...... :p

Yes, it would shake up the world, but Superior Beings are still not God.

Superior Beings never could have invented Peanut Butter, DNA, or the perfect Burger.

The Vatican recently published a paper that stated the existence of aliens was now a reality.
The Vatican says there ARE aliens and Alien Vehicles in the skies.

DIJ,

I don't get it. If the Vatican can say that there are aliens, why can't they say its OK for Catholics to use condoms?

I also wanted to ask you or anybody else could provide me a few good UFO's in history links.

Thanks.

Two good overview books, at least for 20th century UFO history, are Above Top Secret by Timothy Good and Alien Agenda by Jim Marrs. I think Alien Agenda also touches on some ancient history, but that is not the main focus.

Well the traditions and cultural ideas that get devastated by this get what they deserve. For example, I don't think Daoism will change one bit, as it is inclusive, yet the exclusivist judeo/christian cults will have the most to lose (or prove, yer call).

And the Hopi, they'll jest say "see! I told ya!"

Jesus, from time to time, mentioned a "flock" that was far away. He said" But I have OTHER sheep."

I will admit this: I am scared of them physically, but I think we'd all get over that soon enough. I am dying of curiosity. I want to see their home world, their lives, families, their museums, their history, everything.

What can I say? I'm a cultural scientist.

I would give up a lot to be allowed to be the first human scientist to study their lives.

Those kinky Grey guys just need more Seax... :p

...sorry I cant stop myself. :o

I dont believe in aliens, but who knows? All I know is that humans NEED to believe in something bigger than they are.

it's just a fact, there's no reason for "belief" to be involved.
You'll see.
Someday, it will seem completely normal.

As an aside, the movies show weapons becoming inoperative under the influence of aliens. Like many who view the UFO subject as 70% silly and 30% conjecture, I've wondered what I would do.

As long as a firing pin hits a combustable material which then ignites gun powder under the parameters of a chamber, resulting in an controlled explosive event discharging a projectile through an outlet/barrel, I'll stick to the revolver. I'll take a 1911 too, but anything with an ID software safety is out.

My theory is crude weapons like firearms are harder for the aliens to deal with.
Now, this mind control is another matter....

For those advanced enough or interested enough to swing by.

'Course, maybe Mikey Jackson thot he was Spielberg's lovable ET when he was touchin' earth kids...

..I must be tired. Even i'll admit that last part didn't make any sense. I fear my train of thot doth derail...

70% silly and 30% conjecture

That doesnt sound like the final result of serious consideration and research.

Where does it come from ?

Yeah, but I liked the petting zoo part; sort of like tame Llamas. Lots of popcorn and half eaten candy apples thrown into the pen too.

Hey, does this mean they won't let us blow ourselves up?!!

..or is that the Grand Finale of the show?

Don't worry Danny; it won't be my vote that witholds Goverment funds to investigate UFO's.

1. of malign intent, the first thing I'd do is NOT want to be ferreted out.

2. of good/moral intent, i would seek to understand by study, then interaction, then cooperation.

3. of neutral intent, I'd buzz this planet every now and again just to freak the smartest monkeys, see what's cookin.

4. bent on the enforcement of the Cosmic Joke, I'd show up in a flaming chariot, deliver some commands, maybe do a few earth chicks, woo the masses with some techno-magic, give some folks a high-earth orbit ride (then drop them on the other side of the planet;)), blast a few cities...hey wait...are aliens invading Iraq?

:D:D:D
