Are you guys going to offer dual thumbstuds? I love my mini but have had to learn how to carry in my right pocket. Kind of awkward for a lefty ya know? Are there any plans to at offer them to be purchased seperately?

USAFSP,
As for the thumbstud, I remember reading a post on
strider's forum. Another lefty guy asked Mick the same question, and the suggestion was to take off the thumbstud and put it on from the other side. And I think this will do also on a mini striderbuck 881.

I have not heard of any plans to offer it in a lefty, sorry! I have heard of some guys putting the thumb stud on the other side though. It worked for some of the lefties, I suppose it would be worth a try.

I have both sizes of the spearpoint, and have reversed the thumbstuds on both. Once I removed them, I countersunk the holes slightly with a diamond rod before reassembly; don't go overboard on this or the bolt will slide in too far.

I've also removed the clips on both (replaced the screws), and used a black dogtag chain as a lanyard on the mini. That way I can loop it through the belt, and get it with one good pull.

The mini has become the main EDC. The full size travels in a horizontal leather sheath I put together one evening.

I have no problems with the liner-locks as there is no handle cut-out (as on other "right-handed" knives)which might allow slippage during a strong grip.
