Hi all
I just received this beautiful 30th Anniversary Flying MOJO and wanted to share a few photo's of what to me is a grail purchase :D
I could not be happier with this buy, it is what I thought by looking at the pictures black canvas micarta and not the G10 in the original listing, which is the cherry on the ice cream sundae for me since I have come to prefer micarta :). The seller saville01 saville01 is an absolute gentleman who was upfront and honest, this knife is in even better condition than he described, I'm thrilled with this purchase...Thanks to Busse for an amazing product, Blade Forums for an amazing venue and Gavin for a great transaction !

Here are some pictures I just took, please post some of your own Busse grail buys and show them off ( if you like ) ;)IMG_20190810_112624.jpg IMG_20190810_112644.jpg IMG_20190810_112446.jpg IMG_20190810_112559.jpg

What a sweet blade. Congrats! It’s a real beauty. Are you gonna get some pants made? Talk to Chad at pirtlemade.com. A black leather sheath with Mojo accents would look so sweet.

Otherwise, for kydex I go to Yellow Jacket Customs Outdoors. Both great guys and superior sheaths.

Congrats again!

Thanks
I'm still trying to decide about a sheath, but yes I would be asking Chad to craft some pants for her ;)
For now I will be keeping her in a cordura nylon case and after some time having it I will most likely send her off to be fitted.

Very nice! Yeah. Gavin saville01 saville01 is a great guy. He is the one who hooked me up with the epic Gemini Crusader that is now being kept safe by Leonardo63 Leonardo63

Congrats on the grail and thanks for sharing!

Thanks Chris, yeah I've been on the hunt for this for sometime now and then there it was. Awesome that he was the one that got your hands on the Crusader, great experience all around

Yeah the Mojo was probably one of the first Busse' that left an immense impression on my mind. One of these days man! That's a beauty!

Cool to know where the Crusader came from. Yepper it's tucked away safe and sound! She had a showing just last weekend when some family visited and I got to spread out all the steel and talk about them. It will be back out in a few weeks for another get together :D

That is part of the fun of it, I enjoy when family visits and I get to do the same.. Well, except when my brother in-law started bleeding all over on of my blades
Since then it is a more cautionary display ;)

LOLOLOLO!!! There's always one in every family am I right!!! Yeah, my sisters and BIL's are coming over labor day and both my sisters are crazy about the Busse knives. I have one I'm giving to my oldest sister where I bought a blank and put a handle on it from dyed burl. I'll be sure to get a couple pics of it before it leaves, it's really pretty. But to be real, it has taken a while to be able to handle them especially after I've laid my edges on them NOT to cut myself. I didn't expect it to be such a curve :D

Amazing blade man, glad you scored it! There's a great deal of satisfaction in hunting down those grails. I nabbed one of my white whale's a couple of weeks ago which was an original Satin Jack, been on my bench getting fondled since.

Thanks for thinking of me too :)

Several years ago a kid that worked for me sliced himself open trying to put one of mine back in the sheath backwards. (After air fighting ninja's and fending off muggers) Needed 5 or 6 stitches if I remember right.

Ouch ! My brother in-law didn't go that deep into his hand, but it was enough to get a lecture from my wife..lol
I'm a huge fan of your work and was lucky enough to score one of your custom sheaths with elephant overlay from another member for a CPK UF, should be arriving this week :)

And congrats on your SJ !

Lmao! It would have to be a brother-in-law! LOL

Congrats on the very worthy grail! She is a beauty!!! That black micarta looks really exceptional, btw!

It seems someone on the bay cornered the market and running them 50% over what I paid  Just happy to have caught this one

Now who could that be?? :(:(

Thanks!! Let me know what you think :)

I buy so many knives I have to "buy them right", finding one at a great price made it even better.
