For My Nephew

My nephew, Nick, graduated 8th grade Thursday, and his having a party tomorrow. My brother in law, Mike, is raising Nick and his sister Michaela by himself, and is doing a great job of it. Mike is a police sergeant, and Nick enjoys going to the range with him, and is a great shot. I`ve never met a more mature young man, who is also very responsible. Mike and I talked it over and decided it was time for Nick to have a nice knife, (he already has several cheaper knives), so I made him this one. Picked up the box at Hobby Lobby, stained it and glued foam rubber to the inside, kind of like the old S&W boxes.

If you mean like the one in the box, yes, I would also go to 1 1/4" stock instead of 1".
