I have two boys
21 and 24 it's a trying time right now for them both..


thanks I like that...
they do need a helping hand
in these trying times..
then there is a time to let them see,
we do know a thing or three..
by letting them make their own mistakes
to open their eyes so they can see it.....

it's going to be more like son's day I think with the boys.. haha

oh well...I can still be a son to my dad anyway.. I'll be headed to the coast to see him tomorow..we knocked head for the first 18 years
was great for 3 years while in the Navy
knocked heads again for another 9 years when I worked for him in the auto biz.

but the last 20 has been great... take care life is short..

when they get about 13 your IQ goes down sharply
I don't know why but it just happens, just ask them...
once they get to about 22-23 your IQ starts going back up.
why money helps your IQ go up I don't know this either.
Now when you have two kids ,
I'm not sure how it can be, but I now have a split IQ

I am trying to prepare myself to get dumber...he will be 13 next year
But, We will have a newborn soon so I hope the yin and yang thang work things to a happy medium. One will think I am a bother, and the other will think I am the sun.
Then by the time I am smart again the other will thing I am old and dumb

...looking from the other end I can see it.. it will be a short time at best...the babies grow up and then it's different
then your left the memories only..
do as you say and say what you mean and don't back down,
though you trust them and want to, don't completely, it will save you both grief. they will try you and need to get caught..think about when you were younger they were cut from about the same stones..
