I had all these blades that were forge at my Hammer-Ins by Gary Rua so I just finished one up for my son. He is going to a game ranch in Texas next month, so I made up this knife for him.
OAL 9 1/2" Blade 5 1/4" out of 1084 clay hardened, file work on spine, guard is twisted wrought iron anchor chain, handle is deer leg bone dyed and stabilized with a 1/8" copper mosaic pin. The sheath was hanging around here, not sure who made it.

Very cool knife! What ranch is he going to? There's a bazillion of them here in TX.

Oh yeah, keep your eyes peeled for the mailman. I sent the dehydrated habaneros in the mail today. Not sure how the flavor will be, but the heat is there. I rubbed my eye after I bagged them up and had to make a mad dash for the sink.:eek:
