Just for once, I'd like for a day to go by that I didn't read some post made by an adult acting like a child at 0630 on Christmas morning. For the love of God, folks. Do you have to pester the Strider guys with the most inane questions every two seconds? Let them make some knives for a change instead of answering every minute detail about version 8, variant 3, part 6 that you might have thought you heard about from your brother's mother's cousin's second nephew. It almost makes me sick to keep coming back to this forum. It used to be a nice place.

A-f#ckin-men, I am glad you said that Ryan.

I want to hear about cool **** people did with their knife, not my knife my moans and creaks, or does this finish hold up as well as that finish.

I want to hear about the poor SOB who got whacked with the collapsible axe:eek: Those suckers have only been out a short time and someone already got to field test it on someone else:D

Someone tell me about one of the Strider/Tarani training courses. I've got to make it to California for one of those, sounds like a blast.

Matt

It's called "enthusiasm"... and its a fundamental force that keeps Striders rolling out the door... like it or not.
Besides, Mick is prone to "baiting" the tell-me-more posts anyway, eg: The "Next Up..." thread.

In all honesty and with respect, Ryan - Your post kind of insults the hell out of a vast number of people around here.
It also has a wet-blanket effect on those thinking about asking a question... which is not condusive to a thriving forum or product interest.

Yea, some of the questions are not so keen, maybe even some of mine - but hey... live and let live.

Mick,
lmfao:D :D :D

If we all had girl friends, or wives that p/o, we wouldn't be wasting our time here!

Mick, You are a piece of work!
I think the best thread I have EVER read anywhere on this site was here. How to kill someone with a knife, or something like that.
No BS no kiddin just straight talk.
Robert

Oh course it would help if I actually owned a Strider blade.
Then I could Nit pic you too death too:D

Kidding aside it really is a compliment to have people that interested in your work. I know when people ask me alot of questions about a particular knife they are looking hard and paying attention.
Something all makers appreciate.

...but my knife is very sharp and pointy on one end, and it locks open correctly? is there something wrong?!

sorry i couldn't resist.
thanks for making cool knives guys.
and thanks for being such a bastard Ryan and saying what others like me are thinking!
cheers,
Derek

Wilco, I agree. Then again, what do you expect from me? I'm just a poor Strider afflicted/addicted tech specialist that just happens to be very curious...

Next to Heckler Koch there isn't much else to get excited about...except god's gift to man.

Hell before Striders I was not into knives at all. Maybe Randall's.
I owe it all to the Strider blades for making me even realize that there was another use for steel.

"yes it's me and I'm drunk again." Redd Foxx

Happy holidays all.
