Over the weekend at a local eatery, I saw a bulletin that Oliver North was going to be in town tonight, at a book signing for his new novel, Mission Compromised.

I had promised him at Best Ranger that he could anticipate a personalized Vietnam Tomahawk in thanks for his fine coverage of our event at the BRC.

Rather than shipping it, I'll be delivering it in person and hope to bring some pics back. He LOVED the Vietnam Tactical when he handled it at Benning and was totally supportive of its use by Soldiers and Marines.

...note the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor Medallion in the butt of the handle.

Enjoy!

Yea Andy...Sounds great....When are you going to personally deliver tomahawks to those of us that actually ordered them and have been waiting well past the so called deadline? I know Ollie is a great man but I doubt he sent you money for an item that seems to be pie in the sky. Enjoy your night......Cheers!

As promised Pipey, they will be arriving on doorsteps the end of this week, through next week.

The Tomahawk model above came off my desk and went to the laser engraver for personalization...no more sample! :(

I'm not afraid of driving either...have delivered several Tomahawks to NYC, PA, and CT. ...am doing so this Friday too. ;)

Nothing mean spirited meant in last post but I wanted to vent some impatience off on you. Col North does in deed, deserve the best hawk you have.Glad to see he is a hawk man himself. I'll start getting excited now that I have a time/delivery window to expect the grand arrival of my hawk (a red letter day).

If you are ever in SC delivering goods or just passing through, you have an open invitation to visit with us.You have my business card that I sent in with the order.Again, Im just excited about finally owning a VN Tac. You can blame this all on Lt. Paul who let me play with his (tomahawk) back in June.

Cheers!

steamy SC anytime you wish
OK, PipeyCain, but I have dibs on him as he drives through Lynchburg on his way to SC :D:D:D. Great looking tomahawk and I finally see the point of the display stand.

Once they start shipping, PLEASE call me for a tracking number. I can bring up ups.com while I have you on the phone and can tell you right where your hawk is in the UPS system.

Most of the NG people are getting their hawks today and tomarrow and I had one customer on the phone who, while I was tracking the package, was signing for it.

If I have your email addresses I've been trying to email everyone with a note and their tracking numbers.

Besides, what am I going to do when y'all get your hawks and don't call in for shipping information? ;)

As soon as this batch of Vietnam Tacticals comes out of production we'll have plenty of inventory on the shelf. Then the next big run to come in will be Brends.

We have the stands in stock so feel free to give me a call if you'd like one. They're very nice for display.

Pipey....ATC is sponsoring a Tomahawk Throwing Contest at the AKTA National Championship in Awendaw, SC, mid October. We MUST get together while we're down there.

Forgive me for not remembering your card at the moment...drop me a note offline with your particulars.

Thanks to all for your patience and support.

Andy...thanks for the Tomahawk...it's beautiful. But really man, there's NO WAY I'm gonna personalize Rob's copy of my book with "..to the best Marine that ever served"...who does he think he IS? Capt. Kirk?!?!?! :D:D:D

A guy like Ollie North deserves nice gifts like a Custom Vietnam Tactical more than anyone - no matter how much they pay; Marines and all other servicemen who put their lives at risk for years on end to defend the true American Dream deserve more than any of us sitting at home. I waited for months for my NG Ranger and again to get it fixed; it wouldn't bother me if Ollie North or any other REAL American hero got one before me; no matter how much I pay they deserve it much more than I do and as long as I know Andy, Justin, Suzanne and the rest of ATC are doing the best they can to get my product to me - and I know they DO the best they can, I can't complain. I got doubtful... and may I say a tad selfish for a little while until I realized the only reason I can actually buy the things I want and be as selfish as I want is because of men like Ollie North and men like Justin G. Men like them are the only reason we can live as freely as we do. I know some of that sounds a bit too defensive and unfair but I believe it to be the truth; I do NOT mean to offend ANYONE with this post - just look at things in perspective.

God Bless Peter LaGana; his service, his hard work, his tomahawk designs which helped many men in battle and his love of America and freedom.

(and a thanks to Andy and all of ATC for REALLY remembering an American Hero, his love of life and his unique and excellent tomahawk design.)

I guess I'll have to fight the good Colonel on a primitive planet, only armed with makeshift weapons!

Aye me boyo! A battle that can only be ended with a running double drop kick and chop to the neck!

Andy: Give the specific dates on the tomahawk throwing competition in SC. I already fear that the date will conflict with my wedding and honeymoon.

I'd love to meet you and the others and maybe leaqrn a thing or two about hawk tossing....I'll be e-mailing you as you requested shortly.

WHAT??!!?? You'd let a little wedding and honeymoon outweigh a tomahawk throwing event in your agenda???? Let's get our priorities straight! :D

I'd be interested in knowing about the tomahawk event as well. Since I'm in southeast NC, perhaps it's a close enough drive. I mean, SC is just BELOW NC. ;)

Yep Nobody, I asked her if we could postpone the wedding in order for me to attend the event....I'm still alive for now but she is asking who this Andy Prisco is......Maybe its a good thing I havent got my hawk from Andy, but there are a few Kukris she can get her hands on!!
I'll keep you posted on my fate......Cheers!

:barf: Ack, Rob! Now you sound like Mr. Scott. "She's breaking up, Captain! I don't know how long I can hold her together!" :p

Well Done North Star: I would have thought you of all people would be able to give me pre wedding survival advice but no...you are stuck on the trekie rant.....

Yep Just like I feared Bobby, I will be getting married on the 12th.
Oh well, I hope to make to the next meeting. Thanks for the info.
Andy youve got some e-mail to answer.
