When I travel, the first thing I do is check into the local laws and customs. I do not just step out of the airport and scream in the face of the first person I see. While it may not be illegal, it is definitely inconsiderate and may get a slap or warning.

While the OP may get a slap or warning, what he did do would be considered "illegal" by the rules set forth that we all agreed to (including the OP)...

He posted his ad, then never returned. I don't think we are missing all that much, judging by his (nonexistent) post history...

Sticking up for those that willfully do wrong is not a stance that I normally do not take. He should have read the rules, he said that he did when he checked that box. Being that he isn't a regular poster, means he probably had to look for the "create a thread button". In the process, he probably saw the stickied thread regarding the sales of knives and disregarded that too.

Do you think we are as quick to dogpile as he was to disregard the rules?
