That one sounds pretty good, but I think I'd have to lose the spam... maybe replace with thinly sliced beef, or even sausage.

Never been a big fan of Spam... Treat is ok, but not Spam.

At least we get something useful out of spamming idiots.

In 1986 my brand new wife and I headed for Glacier Park on a honeymoon in my 79 Ford pickup with a topper and some camping gear. "Bacon is so messy," said I, "Let's take something called spam.... several cans!" Haven't had it since:thumbdn: However, about 5 years ago, I spent more than an hour in the Hormel Spam Museum and gift shop in Austin, Minnesota. It was a hoot!

...sliced with my 651 Spamsticker and fried golden brown...mmmmmmmmm...:D

Agreed but me likes yellow mustard with Spam.

I just bought two cans of the low fat, lower salt version on Monday.

I posted this before on other forums: back in the 60's my mother would grind up Spam, onions and longhorn cheese, mix with mayo, spread on hamburger bun halves and then broil under the oven. In those days I could eat 10 at a sitting. BTW, I still have me mum's old meat grinder. I grew up in NE Iowa and a lot of my friend's sold their hogs to Hormel, so I always felt I was getting a little bit of home when I ate Spam.

This thread has been a hoot to read, but I have one to add. I like it fried and on a coney bun with sourkrout.

OOOHHH!!! I like the last three recipes!!! :)

When in Hawai'i I used to get, and still do when I am fortunate to be there, SPAM musubi from the 7-11 or gas station quick mart. Can get it here at some of the Hawaiian restaurants too.

I have just added the SPAM Museum to my "Bucket List".
Either I need to get new hobbies or a life LOL.
Doing what I can to get this thread Buck related...
