I got this ELMAX Mule out of the last Run of Spyderco Mule's. I got it because Elmax is such an amazing steel, if you haven't tried it out yet, here's your chance!
I sent this to Tom Krein, and had him make handle scales for it, and make a kydex sheath as well, with large Tek-Lock. It turned out amazing!!!
The Black Micarta Scales and Red Liners go beautifully together, like a match made in heaven. The fit and finish on this one is amazing, definitely what you would expect from a top of the line custom maker like Tom Krein! I also put a beautiful mirror edge on it with my wicked edge, and being that it's Elmax Steel, it probably won't need to be re-sharpened for a long time!
I've got a lot in this one, after paying for the Mule (plus shipping) and the handle scale treatment and kydex sheath w/ tek-lock from Tom Krein (a very expensive customization), I've got well over $200 in it, well over.
It's never been used, and if you know me, you know I have a rule, if it doesn't get used, it goes bye-bye. I'm sad to see this one go, but I still have plenty of Krein's to keep me company
Asking only $179 Shipped, which is a highway robbery at this price, hopefully it goes to a good home!
