Two HI khukuris for sale;
1. 25" sirupati; 2lb 10oz, nice shape, handle cute (with Yin/Yang inlay) but too big for my little girly hands. Slight scuff marks on blade, shd buff back to mirror. $100
2. 28" custom; about 2 and 3/4lb; deeply fullered broad blade and heavily carved handle; there may still be pix of this one in the FAQ under 'machaera'. IIRC, by Bura. Used once, very slight scuffing to balde, shd polish. $150
Buyer pays shipping, so these may be of more interest to European forumites. I can do detailed specs but posting pix is beyond my feeble technical capacities.
Reason for sale? Too cute to use, and the handles are too wide. It was either take a rasp to the woodwork (which would have been desecration of Nepal's cultural heritage) or sell 'em. Proceeds of sale will go towards replacing my dear dead 25" Kobra (Kumar's back! Yeehah!)
