? for Spyderco about my Zowada

I just recieved my new Zowada and I have a question. Is the # on the box label supposed to be the same as the # on the knife? My knife is #399, but the # on the box is #396.
Or does the # on the box have nothing to do with it?
Otherwise it is a beautiful well-made knife.

Walter - yes they should be the same. Probably the boxes were switched. The knives are numbered in sequence, so there are not likely duplicate numbers.

Congratulations on the knife. It is a nicely done piece.

Thanx for the input. We haven't had them out long enough to get much response.

Thanks for the quick response.
Regarding the knife, it isn't a nice piece,
it is an awesome piece!!
It may be not considered as advanced (blade steel, G10 vs. Micarta) as the Starmate, but it is really sweet,
It's one of those knives I just can't stop looking at.
I hope to have a review done in the next couple of weeks.
