36 inch 3 pound tarwar by Sher. Excellent craftsmanship. Beautifully fullered full length. Fit and finish perfect. Great chiruwa style horn handle with heavy brass pommel. Good hard edge and near razor sharp. One of the nicest tarwars I've seen.

Scabbard is very well done in high quality dark leather. Village sarki at his best.

For $245 I don't think you'll find anything bigger and better.

31 inch 41 ounce "Tibetan Sword" (that's what Bura calls it) by Bura. I think Bura is trying to tell us that he ain't dead yet. Great effort by the old master. Fit and finish perfect. Fine hard edge -- blade sings when I run the file along the edge. Beautifully done chiuwa style handle with beautifully grained saatisal.

This sword feels much lighter than 41 ounces and swings very easily. Even I can handle it and that says a lot. Fine feel and balance.

Perfect scabbard by village sarki in the high quality brown leather.

Also $245 delivered to your door.

No discounts on these. I have two of each.

Call or email.

Sher put a slight angle on the handle of the tarwar. Supposedly this is a replica of a tarwar in the National Museum and I suspect the original has an angle -- whether by accident or design I don't know but I can tell by the fit Sher wanted it this way.

Those are exceptional...time for me to make a Yule list? Maybe Sinter Claus will bring that tibetan sword to my house...

I'm sure the Tibetan balances well, look at that massive brass pommel!
Where's Sarge!?! That Tibetan screams Archer's Sword!

Somebody please buy these quickly. Every time my wife looks at my HI Sabre, she looks like :grumpy: . I don't dare bring in another sword!

Wow......

Please post a pix of the blades

especially the last few inches at the tips.

Even once they're sold.

I'd like to get a better look.

Are they edge hardened or fully hardened?

Both very tempting.

Very tempting..........

If the Tibetan were just a bit longer and closer to 2 pounds.....
I could use it for my Taiji Jian/Gim.

The Tarwar ...... ?
I need a good Taiji Dao

Ouch, I'm going to have to pass on both.

Hey Uncle would love to get one/both for my obese sword collection...any chance to get these in with steel fittings and scrap the brass fitings?
B
when the steel fittings on these come in send an email

Re: "Where's Sarge"

Already got my Tarwar, not as pretty as these, but with a blade forged by Bura, pretty where it counts. I'll talk about the baldric I made for it in another thread. My first "post Afghanistan" medieval event is coming this weekend, I'll be ready.

Sheesh, talk about pretty--those guys keep coming up with wonderful new stuff.

I think Bura is trying to tell us that he ain't dead yet.

No Sh1T!!! He's still got it in spades. WOW!!
If I only had the $$. PAIN and more PAIN. ouch.
