This knife is magnificent. Sharpest point I've ever come across on a folder but it's not weak. Scary sharp blade, I cut myself immediately (minor nick) not something that usually happens to me. The grip is very comfortable. I would say that IMHO the Persian is much more of a self defense knife than an EDC but you'll have to decide that based on your cutting needs. You won't be disappointed, get this larger size Emerson. I've seen street prices on line in the $ 125 to $ 135 plus shipping. It's a bargain at that price.

P-Tacs are great knives, have 2, a std model and a collectors assoc zero bevel grind, right now the collectors assoc is my EDC (alternating w/my crawford perfigo), very pointy and sharp, one of my fav EKI's, get one ya wont be sorry imho

I bought this knife a month ago. Wow. This is one dangerous knife. Mine came sharper than any knife I have ever handled. I too cut myself within five minutes. Just touching the tip will pierce your skin. The lines are incredible. The grip is so powerful, beauty in function. This is a knife I would want to defend my life. And in Desert Storm I have defended my life with a blade. Cheers. T
