If you buy only from authorized dealers you will not get scammed. I avoid ebay all together.
 
With CRK now-a-days, you MUST me an informed buyer when not buying from an authorized dealer of CRK themselves. If we think its just happening to CRK, its not. There are knockoff Hinderer and Striders as well.
 
They look legit but I'd be wary of blade swaps ... A Micarta with gold lugs and no cert? And there's another unspecified wood inlay with no blade?

I would stay away and buy from an authorized dealer.
